My name is Jenna, I am 11, Vice President of Animal Associates, and the first member of the club.
APRIL 2005 YOUTH BUREAU AWARDS
I remember long ago trying to get the club started when I was neighbors with Darcie. It started with her and I. Who would have known it would have gotton this far, and we would have raised so much money.
I am a faithful member since the beginning and continue my quest to help animals. When time goes by, and Darcie gets busy with sports, I get her on the phone and gets things rolling.
I work closely with another members in my area, and on my street, setting up ideas for the club.
In May, Britteny and I rescued some baby ducks that were getting attacked by stray cats near their home.
I finally ordered my business cards and I am anxious to use them and pass some out. I work very hard at out fundraisers, and will continue to find caring kids.
I am always passing around papers or my business cards around school trying to get new members.
Christmas, 2004, Darcie, Dakota, and I were kettle ringers for the Salvation Army. It was fun and different doing something other than for animals.
I helped adopt out the gerbils.
I was nominated by the youth bureau for my volunteer
service with my club. I was nominated by all the 6th grade teachers in the [BMS] junior high. I will attend the dinner in April 2005.
I'v been trying to get more volunteers but they keep saying maybe or no!
I am selling candy bars to benefit the horse rescue. I was given a bag of 40, and within an hour, I had them all sold.

My name is Destiney Gaiser.
Iam 14 years old.
I have 3 hamsters, 2 mice, 13 hens, a rooster, a dog, a bird, 3 fish, 2 goats, and a Shetland pony. I have had many animals all my life and I treat them with the respect they deserve. My favorite animals are llamas.
I recently volunteered at the Buffalo Zoo as a zoo crew volunteer for the first time, it was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to helping out at carwashes and other fund-raisers for the club.
My favorite things to do are play football and volleyball with my friends and go to the movies. I am on the modified track team and JV Volleyball. I am glad to be part of this club.
